New Orleans Pelicans New Uniforms For Mardi Gras

New Orleans and Mardi Gras go hand-in-hand like hot dog and bun. The Pelicans revealed their latest alternate uniform with the carnival theme. Like the 2009 debut, the Pelicans (then the Hornets) will don a purple jersey with NOLA across the chest. Unlike the 2009 version, the jerseys will be sleeved and completely purple rather than green on the back and purple on the front.
With Alvin Gentry to coach the team, they'll look to get past the first round in the ultra tough Western Conference. Anthony Davis has proven to be a worthy franchise player with tons of room to improve. Apparently, in this offseason, he's been working on a three point jumper to give him an all around presence on the court.
