Do I need to put my shoes in the washing machine?

It is not required to put your shoes in the washing machine. We offer many other products that do not include the laundry process. However, if your shoes need an extra deep clean this is an option.

What temperature should I wash my shoes in?

Always wash your shoes in COLD water.  NEVER USE WARM OR HOT WATER. 

How should I dry my shoes after removing them from the washer?

We recommend placing wet/damp shoes in a well-ventilated room or in front of a fan and allowing to completely dry overnight.  NEVER put in the dryer.

Do you leave the shoe trees in when putting shoes into the washer?

Yes, leaving the shoe trees in the shoes helps maintain form and will help reduce creasing.

Do you leave the insoles in the shoes when putting them into the washer?

This is optional, but recommended if your insole could use a cleaning.

How many shoes fit in a laundry bag?  Do I need more than one?

Each Laundry Bag is designed to fit one pair of shoes up to a Men’s size 12. The shoes should go into the bag soles together, facing opposite directions. If you’re cleaning a high top shoe, really bulky shoes or wear larger then a size 12, you will have to use an additional laundry bag.  The exact dimensions are 17.5 x 9.5, but the material does stretch. 

What type of detergent should I use?

We recommend using Reshoevn8r Advanced Sneaker Laundry Detergent when needed.

What is Reshoevn8r Advanced Sneaker Solution made of?

Our Advanced Sneaker Solution is 100% natural and is made from coconut and jojoba oils.

How many pairs of shoes can I clean with a bottle of Advanced Sneaker Solution?

You can clean up to 50 pairs of shoes with a 4oz bottle, 100 pairs with an 8oz bottle, and 200 pairs with a 16oz bottle. 

Can I clean suede and nubuck sneakers?

Yes, our Advanced Sneaker Solution is safe and effective on some suede and most nubuck materials. We do not recommend cleaning dyed Suede, unless talking to us first.

Note: Due to the textured nature and various grades of suedes, these can often make for unpredictable results when cleaning.  Before cleaning the entire shoe you are welcome to contact us with photos and questions.  Also be aware that dyed suede materials are known to bleed when wet.

Can I use a blow dryer instead of a heat gun when applying Sole Shields?

We only recommend using a heat gun to apply Sole Shields.  A blow dryer cannot reach the same temperatures as a heat gun and will not create a good bond between the Sole Shield and outsole of the sneaker.

Is Reshoevn8r Water+Stain Repellent ideal for any shoe?

Reshoevn8r Water+Stain Repellent is best for absorbent materials such as canvas, suede, nubuck, and knit materials. It is NOT necessary to apply Water+Stain Repellent to pretreated or waxed leather as these materials don’t absorb spilled liquids. ALWAYS spray in a well-ventilated area, highly recommended to use outdoors.
